Terms of Service

1. Service Description

MatchMind is a statistical football analytics platform that provides probability estimates and model-based confidence scores for matches in the Big-5 European leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1). All outputs are analytical estimates generated by machine-learning models and do not constitute betting advice, financial advice, or guaranteed predictions.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account and use MatchMind.
• One account per person. Sharing or transferring accounts is not permitted.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Accounts found to be used for abuse, scraping, or automated misuse may be suspended without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

• MatchMind may be used for personal research and analytical purposes only.
• Redistribution of prediction outputs for commercial purposes requires a separate written agreement with MatchMind.
• Automated scraping, API abuse, or attempts to reverse-engineer the ML models are strictly prohibited.
• Users must not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or entitlement controls.
• MatchMind data must not be used to operate or promote gambling services, betting tipster services, or any service that constitutes gambling advice.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Elite) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes before checkout confirmation.
• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Annual subscriptions are billed once for a 12-month period at a 20% discount over the monthly rate and renew after 365 days.
• EU customers are charged applicable VAT (e.g. 21% Dutch BTW) which is automatically calculated by Stripe Tax and shown on your invoice.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact the operations team within 7 days of a charge if you believe a billing error occurred.
• Downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to paid features continues until then.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

MatchMind is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that model outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Probability estimates reflect historical patterns and carry inherent uncertainty — past performance does not guarantee future accuracy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MatchMind and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including financial losses arising from use of or reliance on platform outputs. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

7. Service Changes

• MatchMind may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable prior notice where possible.
• Model updates, data refreshes, league coverage changes, and algorithm improvements are operational decisions and are not grounds for refund.
• Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
• Continued use of the platform after a terms update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.
